Syed Ali Rahman
Vice President
Syed Ali Rahman is Vice President of the US India Policy Institute. He has been engaged with the organization since 2015. He previously co-founded the South Florida chapter of the Indian American Muslim Council and served as its President at its launch in 2002.
Over the years, he has supported a range of India-focused charities and civic organizations, including the Zakat Foundation of India. He also served four years as President of the South Florida chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations and later held a state-wide board position in Florida.
His work focuses on advancing equity and improving outcomes for marginalized and underserved communities. He maintains a sustained commitment to India-related causes.
He lives in Florida with his wife and three children.
