After more than 35-years in the medical field serving as a physician and leading his own medical practice, Dr. Hyder Khan has shifted his focus to fuel his philanthropic passion for uplifting marginalized communities.
Originally from Hyderabad, India, he immigrated to the United States in 1969 for higher education. He has served in voluntary leadership roles of several non-profit organizations including:
Islamic Center of Minnesota | Board Member, Council of Trustees
Advocates for Human Rights | Board Member
As a Founding Member of USIPI, he was one of five individuals who brought a bold concept to life - one that seemed too farfetched for many. Through strong belief, vision, and collaboration, USIPI has become a well-respected think tank known for its credible thought-provoking research.
Hyder lives in Minneapolis with his wife Nazneen. They are the proud parents of three grown children and the grandfather of eight wonderful grandchildren.
