The U.S.-India Policy Institute (USIPI) is seeking an experienced and mission-driven Executive Director to lead its U.S.-based operations and advance its work promoting equity, inclusion, and democratic values through independent, evidence-based research.

Based in Washington, D.C., the Executive Director will translate the Board’s strategic vision into measurable programs and outcomes, serve as USIPI’s public representative across policy, government, media, and community audiences, build strategic partnerships, and lead U.S. fundraising and donor engagement. The role also oversees coordination between USIPI’s U.S. and India-based work while safeguarding the Institute’s commitment to research independence and rigor.

We are looking for a senior leader with a strong record in nonprofit leadership, policy research, international affairs, stakeholder engagement, and fundraising, along with a genuine commitment to advancing opportunity and inclusion for minority and marginalized communities in India.
